How to care for your desk with the Maintenance Kit?

Our Maintenance Kit makes conserving and fixing your desk very easy – all you have to do is follow a few simple rules:

1. Prepare your surface – clean all dust and dirt off the surface, then file it using the 150 and 240 grit sandpaper, respectively. Remember to only file along the grain.
2. Mix the oil wax thoroughly.
3. Using the OSMO cloth, evenly spread the oil wax on the entire surface, moving along the grain.
4. Wipe off excess oil and leave to dry for around 8-10 hours, making sure the room is well ventilated and kept in optimal temperature.
5. Once completely dry, cover with the second layer of the oil wax and leave to dry.

Remember! Used oiling cloths must be rinsed with water before disposing to avoid self-ignition.

Colorless, ecological oil wax OSMO protects wood from damage and stains while keeping it optimally moisturized without blocking its pores.
