At Oakywood, we’re committed to getting your order to you quickly and safely. That’s why we work with trusted carriers like DDP, UPS, DHL Express, FedEx or DB Schenker for international deliveries.

Duties & Taxes

No hidden fees - we want you to know exactly what you’re paying for.

European Union
Orders within the EU are shipped directly from our workshop in Poland (EU) and are not subject to duties. The price displayed on our website is the final price you pay.

United Kingdom, Switzerland & Norway
Orders to the UK, Switzerland, and Norway are shipped duties and taxes paid (DDP) — all import charges are already included in the product price.

United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia & United Arab Emirates
For these destinations, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout, and your order is shipped duties and taxes paid (DDP). You’ll see the full, final cost before placing your order, with no additional fees upon delivery.

All Other Countries
For all other international destinations, orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). This means import duties, taxes, and any customs-related fees are the customer’s responsibility and must be paid upon arrival in the destination country.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. Delivery times vary depending on destination.

European Union
Orders shipped from our workshop in Poland usually arrive within 1–3 business days.

United Kingdom, Switzerland & Norway
Deliveries to these destinations typically take 3–5 business days.

United States, Canada, Asia & Middle East
International deliveries usually take 3–6 business days, depending on the destination and carrier.

Warranty

All products are covered by a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty does not cover:

• • Damage caused by misuse, improper assembly, or incorrect installation

  • Mechanical damage from accidents or impacts

  • Chemical damage (e.g., harsh cleaning agents, nail polish, spilled liquids)

  • Damage resulting from prolonged moisture exposure

  • Discoloration or fading due to sunlight

  • Intentional damage, alterations, or improper use

Please note: Solid wood is a natural material and may display:

• • Variations in grain and color

  • Minor cracks or small irregularities from normal wood movement

  • Slight bending if exposed to significant changes in temperature or humidity

  • Natural color changes over time

These natural characteristics are not covered by the warranty.

Return & Exchanges

• If you are not completely happy with your order, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund. Please, remember: you cannot return a customized product.

• To return your order:

1. Please email your return request at contact@oakywood.shop or use the form provided below.

2. We will help you organize the shipment to one of our local return points.

3. We will create a return label for you. Shipping costs are non-refundable, the cost of return shipping label will be deducted from your refund.

4. Once we will receive your return, we willl issue a refund on a receipt, or exchange the item for a different size/color if preferred.
