Another Oaky-year behind us – a recap of 2025

They say the older you get, the faster time seems to pass. Well, all of us are almost a year older than we were at the beginning of 2025 – and it feels like this year didn’t just pass, it flew by at comet speed. Today, as we prepare for new challenges, we take one last look back and recap the most important moments of the past months.

Product launches

Our design team never rests on its laurels. We are constantly searching for new solutions that make everyday work and life easier for thousands of customers. The result of this creative process is this year’s lineup of new products.

Desk Shelf Pro – an expanded, modular version of our iconic desk shelf. Equipped with two drawers (single or double) and an open shelf lined with natural felt.
Valet Trays – perfect for storing both small items and documents or notes. Designed with a protruding base that allows them to be stacked into a stable vertical structure.
Magnetic Cable Organizer – effortless cable organization and easy access. Built-in magnets prevent cables from sliding off the desk surface, while a steel plate with micro-suction pads allows the organizer to be securely attached to the desk.
Laptop Mount for Desk Shelf – an add-on for the desk shelf that supports ergonomic dual-screen work. It raises your laptop to an optimal height and angles it toward the user for improved comfort.
XL Felt & Cork Desk Mat – our well-loved desk mat made of merino wool felt and Portuguese cork, now available in a larger size, is ideal for spacious desks.
“Desk Attachables” collection:
Hanging Desk Organizer – mounted to the edge of the desk with clamps, it doesn’t take up any desk space while creating additional storage. Two pockets in different sizes can hold a laptop or documents as well as smaller accessories.
Desk-Mounted Headphone Hook – a cylindrical hanger attached to the desk. Highly durable, it can hold not only headphones but also a backpack or handbag.
Desk-Mounted Speaker Shelf – positions speakers at the optimal height for better sound distribution. It can also be used as a stand for a desk lamp, wireless charger, or plant.

This year’s bestsellers

We closely monitor which products are most loved by the Oakywood community and most frequently added to shopping carts. For quite some time now, our desk shelf has consistently held a top spot — and we continue to refine it by introducing new versions. This year, the magnetic cable organizer also made it onto the podium, quickly winning over users.

Upgraded 3D configurator

In 2025, we introduced significant improvements to our 3D configurator. The result: faster performance, more customization options, and the ability to preview personalized products in augmented reality (AR). Simply put, you can now “place” a desk configured to your preferences directly into your space using AR, ensuring before purchase that the chosen dimensions and colors truly fit your interior.

A new blog series

There were also new developments on our blog. In 2025, we launched a new series titled “Your space, your story.” These are conversations with digital creators – Oakywood ambassadors – about their workspaces, careers, creative paths, and more. If you missed it, now’s a great time to catch up.

Forest planting

Reforestation is an integral part of Oakywood’s mission. We work with natural materials – wood – so this is our way of giving something back to Mother Nature. For every product sold, we plant one tree or restore one square meter of forest. In March 2025, together with the Forever Forest Foundation, we planted over 4,000 m² of forest in Czechowiec. Importantly, forests planted by Forever Forest are truly permanent – they can never be designated for logging.

A new workshop

Finally, the cherry on top: our production and logistics team moved into a new, larger, and more comfortable space. The new location offers over 40% more production and storage capacity. This allowed us to eliminate warehouse and finishing bottlenecks entirely and to create Oakywood’s first stationary office.

We noticed the results immediately: smoother production, faster order fulfillment, and better collaboration between teams.

The year 2026 is already on the horizon. We look toward it with hope and anticipation, but also with humility. We don’t know what it will bring, but we do have plans we intend to carry out with precision, perseverance, and creativity. And that’s exactly what we wish for our entire community.
